What are the types of USB interfaces?

There are so many that it's dizzying. The most common ones are type-A and type-C.

USB: Universal Serial Bus is a serial bus standard and also a technical specification for input and output interfaces. The numbers after USB 2.0 and USB 3.1 are iterations. The latest generation is USB 4, with a transmission speed of 40Gbit/s, a three-stage voltage of 5V/12V/20V, and a maximum power supply of 100W. One of the great advantages of USB is that it supports hot plugging. It is commonly used to connect mice, keyboards, mobile hard drives, and charging.

Now the new USB Type C interface allows blind insertion in both directions. Type-C was proposed along with the USB 3.1 standard. When the USB transmission rate reached the USB3.1 standard, in order to meet the upgraded consumer demand, USB-IF announced the launch of the Type-C interface. USB Type-C, also known as USB-C, is a hardware interface form of the Universal Serial Bus (USB). The biggest feature of its appearance is that its upper and lower ends are completely consistent, which means that users no longer need to distinguish the front and back of the USB, and it can be inserted in both directions. The advantages of the interface are that it is small in size, can be inserted in both directions, has a maximum data transmission speed of 10Gbps, can withstand 100W of power transmission, and can also be used for video transmission.
