PCI-Express(peripheral component interconnect express) is a high-speed serial computer expansion bus standard, its original name is “3GIO”, which was proposed by Intel in 2001 to replace the old PCI, PCI-X and AGP bus standard.

The suppliers of PCIe flash memory cards include: INTEL, IBM, LSI, OCZ, Samsung(planning), SanDisk, STEC, SuperTalent and Toshiba(planning),etc. PCIe4.0 is available for 100G and 200G. PCIe5.0 uses up to 400G. And in the future PCIe6.0 will boost it to 800G.
